Over the past 10 years, TBD Digital has been working closely with the Regional News team providing various digital services including regular photographic services, both onsite and in our studio.
Early last year, we made a recommendation to Regional News, that they ought to digitise their publications since their business generated content on a periodic basis. It was the perfect foundation for search engine optimisation activities and the dream formula for any SEO professional.
Although the visual design component was supplied and driven by their internal designer, the website has been developed both frontend and backend by TBD Digital.
Built upon the SilverStripe framework and carefully customised to follow Regional News’ internal publication processes, a preview-based approach to each publication was developed. The website allows for easy content management by the Regional News team with each and every addition providing automatic search engine optimisation of content. Social media integrations and posting capabilities were also integrated to aid social media information sharing activities.
To date, the website has over 1200 indexed website pages, and growing.
