Eyeline Optical is a supplier of specialist optical equipment targeting a niche range of professions across New Zealand and abroad.
The company required a redesign and rebuild of their website with two main goals in mind. Firstly; to create a centralised resource to guide its clientele seamlessly through a range of products and external catalogues, and secondly; to improve the company's position by reinforcing the underlying visual brand identity.
Our main goal was to provide the company with easy self administration capabilities. This was achieved by developing a simple two-tier relational product database specifically purposed for their businesses requirements. This would allow us to design a clean, simple mobile responsive interface that would automatically generate search engine optimised content for the customers.
The search facility was developed to allow keywords to be added manually on a per-item basis. Keywords such as mis-spellings, or jargon typical only to Eyeline’s customer base could be added to help customers find correct product items.
