Eyeline Optical is a supplier of specialist optical equipment targeting a niche range of professions across New Zealand and abroad.
The company required a redesign and rebuild of their website with two main goals in mind. Firstly, to create a centralised resource to guide its clientele seamlessly through a range of products and external catalogues, and secondly, to improve the company's position by reinforcing the underlying visual brand identity.
Our main goal was to provide the company with easy self administration capabilities. This was achieved by developing a simple two-tier relational product database specifically purposed for their businesses requirements. This would allow us to design a clean, simple mobile responsive interface that would automatically generate search engine optimised content for the customers.
The search facility was developed to allow keywords to be added manually on a per-item basis. Keywords such as mis-spellings, or jargon typical only to Eyeline’s customer base could be added to help customers find correct product items.
